WaveTangent is the solo music project of Rob Wentz. Rob is a classically trained musician who was raised surrounded by synthesizers and 12" vinyl in the late 70s and early 80s. Rob was a part of the very active tracker demo scene during the 90s in Chicago, forming the group Monstrum Sepsis with fellow artist and musician Paul Karlik. Rob also toured extensively as live keyboardist for the Madison, WI based Stromkern.

The music on 2020 was all based off ideas and concepts written since 2004.

Monstrum Sepsis is the music project started in late 1996 between Paul J. Karlik and Robert P. Wentz. Both started writing music in the early 90s with four tracks and amiga music trackers.
